Learning and Participation Administrator

Permanent

Full time - 37 hours per week

£28,639 per annum

Closing date 17 November 2026

We are recruiting a full-time administrator to join our busy Learning & Participation department. We deliver a diverse range of complex projects and programmes at the Marlowe Theatre and across Kent, working with young people aged 5 and up, schools across the region and a range of community groups. Our partners include the RSC, Philharmonia and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.

We are seeking a highly organised administrator to streamline day-to-day operations, strengthen internal systems and processes, and ensure information flows effectively across our projects and the wider Marlowe team.

Your skills and experience may have been gained outside the arts sector. We welcome the fresh perspectives and transferable expertise you can bring to a creative environment.

A competent administrator, you have developed the skills needed to work in a busy office, such as prioritisation, communication, record keeping, problem solving, attention to detail, and agility to change.

You will be confident working alongside experienced arts programme managers, providing the organised, responsive administrative support they need to deliver creative programmes effectively.

The Marlowe Theatre is an inclusive and disability confident employer. We value difference and recruit by merit based on fair and open competition. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes them unique.

The Marlowe Theatre is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. As this post might involve some work alongside children and young people, the successful candidate will be subject to safer recruitment procedures, including satisfactory references and a basic DBS check.
